Levon Helm had a long career as a musician and actor, but he is best known for being the drummer and vocalist for The Band. This framed limited edition image by James Fortune captures Levon behind the drum kit.
 
James Fortune began his photographic career in the late 1960s while still in college in Los Angeles. He photographed and cataloged over 15,000 images of rock icons and others through 1980. This image is framed to show its deckled edges, hand-signed by James Fortune, and is numbered 43/275.
